PSF 2017 – Secret Pants, Kathyrn & Sarah, Jack O’Keeffe
April 20 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Philly Sketchfest’s (PSF) goal is to entertain audiences, support the growth of Philadelphia’s comedy community, and celebrate national and international sketch groups with unique shows, performers, and panels.
Secret Pants is a Philadelphia’s oldest continuously active sketch comedy troupe. They formed in the spring of 2004, after meeting in a Temple University comedy writing class. They specialize in writing, producing, editing, and performing their own short video sketches. Their videos have been featured on FUSE Network, The Philadelphia Film Festival, CollegeHumor.com, Comedy Central’s website, the Associated Press wire, FOX NEWS, and KYW, Philly’s CBS affiliate to name a few.
Secret Pants began performing their material live in 2005, and since that time they have taken their act to stages up and down the east coast including the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Philly Sketchfest, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Atlantic City’s House of Blues, and NYC’s People’s Improv Theater (The PIT) among others. They have had the pleasure of opening for national comedians, including Bruce Bruce and Neil Hamburger. They are proud, two-time winners of the “Dirtiest Sketch in Philadelphia” competition, nabbing the top prize in 2007 and 2008.
Their members are regular contributors to Philadelphia-area sketch groups and shows, including The Flat Earth, Goat Rodeo, TV Party, Iron Sketch, Theme Show, Camp Woods Plus, Now Time, and Sketch Up or Shut Up. They also produce and promote their own annual holiday comedy/variety show and a semi-annual summer festival, “Welcome to the Terrordome,” at Johnny Brenda’s.
Secret Pants is Brian Craig, Brian Kelly, Bryce Remsburg, Samantha Russell, and Paul Triggiani.
