PSF 2017 – HOT RAW FIRE, Cool Kid Comedy and High Dramma
April 21 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Philly Sketchfest’s (PSF) goal is to entertain audiences, support the growth of Philadelphia’s comedy community, and celebrate national and international sketch groups with unique shows, performers, and panels.
HOT RAW FIRE
HOT RAW FIRE is Montreal’s premiere bunch of buds who just love rippin’ up some sketch comedy. Known for their use of live video on stage and PG-13 body horror mime-cycles, this quintet has delighted audiences across North America with the comedy of adult children. Fresh off runs at the 2017 Chicago and Toronto Sketchfests and two-time winners of the Best Local Troupe award at Montreal Sketchfest (2015 & 2016), HOT RAW FIRE promises to crash on the couches of your hearts and minds forever!
Cool Kid Comedy
This New York City sketch group packs a hard blend of darkness and childlike naiveté. Cool Kid Comedy has produced live shows for some of New York City’s most popular comedy venues, including The Peoples Improv Theater, The Magnet Theater and Under St. Marks Theater. They have also been selected to perform at The Boston Comedy Arts Festival, The New York City Sketch Festival, The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, and LA Comedy Festival. Their original content has been featured on Funny Or Die, College Humor, Bloomberg TV and comedy blogs across the web. They have produced exclusive content for Funny Or Die, CH2, Samsung Milk Video, and they are members of the Funny Or Die Community.
Cool Kid Comedy is Cian Smith, Ben Kleinman, Greg Mills, and Chris Blakeman.
Performing since 2008, High Dramma is a 100% independent sketch comedy troupe that seeks to combine traditional sketch comedy with elements of musical, dance, pantomime, all intertwined between live music provided by a mad banjo player into a whirlwind of high-minded vulgarity and low-brow sophistication.
High Dramma has had the pleasure of performing at the NYC Sketch Festival, Philly Sketchfest, the F. Harold Comedy Festival and Montréal Sketchfest.
High Dramma is D.C. Fisher, Jackie Wolfson, Curt Riedy, Jason Singer, Pete Heleva, and Sam Sherburne.
